MONSTA X‘s Minhyuk was discharged from the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do on October 3. He reunited with his members, including the currently enlisted ones, who came to celebrate his discharge.

On October 6, Minhyuk held 2024 MINHYUK Fan Event <Let’s GO!5rae>, a particular fanmeeting to reunite with MONBEBEs (MONSTA X followers).
During the occasion, Minhyuk acknowledged a photograph that went viral whereas he was within the army. It appeared Minhyuk had gone to church.

Minhyuk confessed his ulterior motives. Choco pies, a preferred snack in South Korea, particularly amongst troopers, have been being given out on the church, and he wished to eat them.

MONBEBEs weren’t too shocked however fairly amused by Minhyuk’s confession. While some members of MONSTA X are Christians, Minhyuk has been recognized to be non-religious, so they’d initially been extra shocked by his sudden church attendance.
