She joined JYP Entertainment earlier than the corporate’s 2nd-gen teams debuted!
TWICE‘s Jihyo was recently a guest on soloist Lee Mujin‘s musical variety program, Leemujin Service, to promote her solo debut.
Jihyo officially made her long-awaited solo debut, releasing her EP ZONE on August 18. During her interview on Leemujin Service, she opened up about her debut, her solo release, and her time as a trainee.
Jihyo, now 26 years previous, first turned a trainee at eight years previous. She briefly skilled at one other firm earlier than turning into a trainee at JYP Entertainment in 2005.
Putting the longevity of her profession in leisure in perspective, the TWICE chief opened up about what it was like coaching with members of the 2nd technology teams, the Wonder Girls and 2PM, earlier than they even debuted.
Fellow trainees on the time included members of the Wonder Girls, 2PM, and Miss A, in addition to former JYP Entertainment trainees like Highlight‘s Kikwang, 2NE1‘s CL, and former Wonder Girls and 4MINUTE member HyunA.
With such a major age hole between the younger Jihyo and older trainees, Lee Mujin was naturally interested by what it was like for Jihyo to coach along with her legendary sunbaes, earlier than she turned a legendary sunbae herself.
Jihyo revealed that the older trainees “really loved [her]” and defined that as she watched them debut earlier than her, she had a mature outlook on the state of affairs.
Instead of feeling envy, she discovered it “interesting” to witness their debut as she reminded herself that it wasn’t her time but.
She hilariously shared that after the older trainees, whom she had grown near, debuted, she usually needed their autographs to reward to her dad and mom.
When Jihyo was capable of debut herself, she revealed that she initially “suffered a lot.” Check out extra on that within the article under:
