JTBC’s upcoming feminine vocal group audition program “Girls on Fire” has unveiled its producer lineup!
On March 4, JTBC revealed that Yoon Jong Shin, Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko, Sunwoo JungA, Apink’s Jeong Eun Ji, DAY6’s Young Ok, and choreographer Kinky might be becoming a member of “Girls on Fire” as producers.
Helmed by the manufacturing staff of “Phantom Singer” and “Super Band,” “Girls on Fire” plans to find gifted musicians and create a feminine vocal group. It was beforehand revealed that entertainer Jang Do Yeon would be the MC for the present.
The newly launched teaser clip shares a sneak peek of the six producers’ anticipation for the “Girls on Top” contributors. Singer-songwriter Sunwoo JungA remarks, “It has been rare to see a female vocal group for some time.” Jeong Eun Ji provides, “[The public] has a lot of desire for well-produced vocals, especially these days.”
Chreographer Kinky shares, “We must be able to quench the thirst of the public with music that is no longer limited to the music they listen to but the music they see,” whereas Young Ok feedback, “The members must be good at everything including vocal skills.”
In addition, producers Yoon Jong Shin and Gaeko herald the start of a brand new group by commenting, “This will be the beginning of K-pop diversity,” and, “Like K-hip hop, a new trend will emerge in female vocal music as well.”
