Disney+ has unveiled the primary poster and trailer for its upcoming drama “The Impossible Heir”!
“The Impossible Heir” will inform the story of three small-timers who be part of forces in an try to take over Korea’s largest conglomerate. Lee Jae Wook will star as Han Tae Oh, the son of a assassin; U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young will play Kang In Ha, the illegitimate son of a chaebol chairman; and Hong Su Zu will play Na Hye Won, the daughter of a gambler who has burdened her with debt.
The newly launched trailer begins by introducing Han Tae Oh, who has lived a troublesome life on the backside of the meals chain and is determined to flee his circumstances. When his assassin father calls him from jail and says, “I want to see my son so badly,” Han Tae Oh is visibly terrified, and he later warns somebody with tears in his eyes, “Run away! Just run away, quickly!”
Meanwhile, Kang In Ha faces his personal struggles because the illegitimate son of the chairman of Kang Oh Group, Korea’s largest conglomerate. He is unable to even name his personal father “Father,” and somebody taunts him, “Looks like you’re locked in your room again today and won’t be able to come out.”
Finally, Na Hye Won is accosted by mortgage sharks who threateningly ask her to pay again the massive sum of cash her mom—a serial gambler—owes them. Na Hye Won spits again, “Mom? I don’t have a mom.”
Pushed to the brink by their respective circumstances, the trio decides to goal for the very high of the social ladder. Na Hye Won asks, “Didn’t you want to live a different life than the one you’re living now?” Meanwhile, Han Tae Oh tells Kang In Ha, “The power you’re talking about? In my opinion, that’s nothing. Because I have something even stronger than that. Desperation.”
As Kang In Ha goals to turn out to be his father’s successor and inherit Kang Oh Group, the story appears to take a violent flip. Kang In Ha then asks his father outright, “If I save you, please officially acknowledge me as chairman Kang Joong Mo’s son, Kang In Ha.”
Na Hye Won declares, “No matter what happens, I’m going to do the things I said I would do,” whereas Han Tae Oh says, “If you want to achieve your goals, you need to put in at least that much effort.” He then tells Kang In Ha reassuringly, “All eyes will be on you and you alone. Because you’re going to succeed completely.”
Finally, the primary poster for the drama sums up the story as “the rebellion of the small-timers at the bottom of the food chain,” whereas the caption captures the trio’s dedication by studying, “We’ll show you how far we can go.”
