tvN’s upcoming drama “Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born” has unveiled its first teaser!
Based on a well-liked webtoon, the drama is directed by Jung Ji In, identified for “The Red Sleeve.” Set within the Fifties, shortly after the Korean War, the sequence follows Jeong Nyeon (Kim Tae Ri), a younger vocal prodigy who goals of changing into a prime conventional theater actor. The present explores Jeong Nyeon’s journey via competitors, teamwork, and private progress amid the period’s poverty and romance.
The first teaser reveals Jeong Nyeon’s awe and aspiration as she first watches the legendary all-female Gukguek-dan, a Korean classical opera ensemble she’s solely heard about till now. Mesmerized by the enchanting stage and the actors’ highly effective performances, she begins to dream of standing on that stage herself.
