JTBC’s new drama “Strong Girl Namsoon” is off to a promising begin!
A spin-off of the hit drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” “Strong Girl Namsoon” is a comedy about three generations of girls born with unbelievable power as they examine drug-related crimes occurring across the Gangnam space. Lee Yoo Mi stars as Gang Nam Soon, an eccentric and bubbly lady with unbelievable power who flies to Korea from Mongolia with a view to discover her mother and father.
On October 7, “Strong Girl Namsoon” premiered to greater viewership rankings than the unique “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.” According to Nielsen Korea, the primary episode of “Strong Girl Namsoon” scored a median nationwide ranking of 4.3 %, taking first place in its time slot throughout all cable channels—and surpassing the premiere ranking of three.8 % achieved by the unique drama.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven,” KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life,” and tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicles 2” all took the night off because of protection of the Asian Games.
