According to Nielsen Korea, the December 20 premiere of “Like Flowers in Sand” scored a median nationwide score of 1.5 %. “Like Flowers in Sand” is a brand new romance drama concerning the story of youths struggling to bloom of their lives on a ssireum (conventional Korean wrestling sport) ring towards the backdrop of Geosan, a metropolis well-known for ssireum. The drama follows ssireum prodigy Kim Baek Doo (Jang Dong Yoon) and his old flame Oh Yoo Kyung (Lee Joo Myung).
MBC’s “A Good Day to Be a Dog” equally garnered a median nationwide score of 1.5 %, marking a slight dip from the previous episode’s score of 1.9 %.
