Upcoming movie “Smugglers” has unveiled character stills for Kim Hye Soo, Yum Jung Ah, Jo In Sung, and extra!
Set within the Seventies in a small, peaceable village by the ocean, “Smugglers” tells the story of deep sea divers who unexpectedly get tousled in a high-stakes smuggling scheme. The movie is helmed by Ryu Seung Wan, the director behind the hit films “Escape from Mogadishu,” “The Battleship Island,” “Veteran,” “The Berlin File,” “The Unjust,” and extra.
With an intense glare that would tear the display aside, Kim Hye Soo portrays Jo Chun Ja, a deep sea diver who joins a smuggling ring.
Yum Jung Ah, who performs the position of Eom Jin Suk, Chun Ja’s greatest pal, exudes charisma as the intense but loyal chief of the deep sea divers.
Reuniting with director Ryu Seung Wan for the second time following “Escape From Mogadishu,” Jo In Sung brings his entrepreneurial facet and cruel temperament to the position of Sergeant Kwon, a nationwide smuggling kingpin.
Next, Park Jung Min performs Jang Do Ri, the youngest among the many deep sea divers. He goes from being the naive youngest to turning into a smuggler.
Kim Jong Soo performs the position of Lee Jang Chun, a customs officer who catches smugglers.
Playing the movie’s hidden card, Go Min Si transforms into Madam Go Ok Bun who runs a espresso store.
