JTBC’s upcoming drama “Queen of Divorce” has shared one other glimpse of Kang Ki Young in his main function!

“Queen of Divorce” will observe Sara Kim, Korea’s best “divorce problem solver” (performed by Lee Ji Ah), and eccentric lawyer Dong Ki Joon (Kang Ki Young) as they fearlessly carry justice to wronged spouses.

Notably, Kang Ki Young skyrocketed to fame by means of one other lawyer function: the actor stole hearts within the hit 2022 drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” because the kindhearted senior legal professional Jung Myung Seok, who grew to become a mentor to protagonist Woo Young Woo.

In “Queen of Divorce,” Kang Ki Young will rework into the tenacious and fearless lawyer Dong Ki Joon, who will thrill viewers by giving dangerous spouses the punishment they deserve.

Describing the character of Dong Ki Joon, “Queen of Divorce” author Jung Hee Sun commented, “When things aren’t working out and people get frantic, he’s a colleague who breathes positive energy [into the team] by reassuring them that things will go well. He’s also a partner who, even when a solution fails, takes his partner’s side and reassures them that they weren’t wrong.”

Praising Kang Ki Young’s efficiency, the author enthused, “Actor Kang Ki Young brought style and flair to the fantasy-like character of Ki Joon by adding his own unique charm.”

“I heard that this drama marks [Kang Ki Young’s] first leading role,” she continued. “But he did such a great job grounding and standing at the center of the drama that I couldn’t believe that was true. As a writer, he’s an extremely dependable actor.”
