Disney+ has unveiled new stills for its upcoming collection “The Worst of Evil”!
Set within the Nineteen Nineties, “The Worst of Evil” is a crime-action drama about an investigation launched to take down a serious cartel based mostly in Gangnam that’s chargeable for unlawful drug commerce between Korea, Japan, and China.
In the upcoming collection, Ji Chang Wook will star as Park Joon Mo, a detective who undertakes the harmful mission of going undercover to infiltrate the Gangnam Alliance and earn the belief of mob boss Jung Ki Chul, performed by Wi Ha Joon. Jung Ki Chul is the ruthless chief of the Gangnam Alliance who will cease at nothing to realize success. At the core of the drama is the intricate relationship between Park Joon Mo and Jung Ki Chul. After their intense preliminary encounter, Jung Ki Chul’s resolution to simply accept Park Joon Mo into the Gangnam Alliance marks a dynamic shift of their relationship, oscillating between belief and suspicion. The addition of Im Se Mi, who will depict Yoo Eui Jung, an achieved narcotics officer who’s each Park Joon Mo’s spouse and Jung Ki Chul’s past love, will additional complicate the narrative and convey an engrossing and charming storyline that can deeply interact viewers.
Director Han Dong Wook additional emphasised the significance of Park Joon Mo and Jung Ki Chul’s dynamics, stating, “The key focus was the relationships between these characters. Even in action sequences, I aimed for the characters’ emotions to take precedence over technical stunts.”
“The Worst of Evil” will premiere on September 27.
