MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) has responded to allegations of being related to the JMS cult.

Previously, the November 3 broadcast of “I Live Alone” featured a resort positioned in Wanju County of North Jeolla province within the metropolis of Jeonju. Regarding this, one YouTuber alleged that “I Live Alone” depicted the resort as PPL (product placement) and that the resort is an organization beneath JMS Providence (also referred to as the Christian Gospel Mission), a cult based by chief and convicted rapist Jung Myung Seok, who’s described as having groomed and sexually exploited lots of his younger feminine followers.

The YouTuber alleged, “On paper, they may have no relation at all to JMS, but it is a hotel very closely related to JMS,” saying that numerous festivals and sports activities outing occasions occurred there. They alleged that the manufacturing workforce could also be linked to JMS if the resort was proven as free PPL on this system. A supply from the Methodist Cult Damage Prevention Center additional shared that the related resort is deeply intertwined with JMS.

On November 17, the manufacturing workforce of “I Live Alone” shared, “The current allegations are groundless. We will work hard to pay more attention to the various opinions sent in by viewers. Thank you.”
