“Delightfully Deceitful” has dropped a brand new take a look at Chun Woo Hee as con artist Lee Ro Um!

tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Delightfully Deceitful” is an exciting revenge drama about con artist Lee Ro Um (Chun Woo Hee) who lacks empathy and lawyer Han Moo Young (Kim Dong Wook) who’s excessively empathetic by nature. In order to battle evil, these two polar opposites crew as much as kind an unlikely alliance.

Chun Woo Hee described Lee Ro Um as “a character who only pays attention to situations and relationships that have effective value and are of help to her.” To put it merely, Lee Ro Um is somebody who doesn’t try to grasp or sympathize with the feelings of others and is barely targeted on who and what advantages her.

Thinking again to when she was first launched to the character, Chun Woo Hee commented, “I felt interested by the image of Lee Ro Um colorfully transforming. I was easily immersed into her longtime preparations for revenge and I started feeling exhilarated.”

However, the tough half about portraying a task like that is having to empathize with a personality who has no empathy. Regarding this problem, Chun Woo Hee shared, “I thought a lot about the inability to empathize, how to convey the emotional spectrum of this character who is insensitive to others, and how much weight would be appropriate for this drama when transforming into diverse images.”

Chun Woo Hee elaborated, “In order to look like a different person at first glance, I used colors as accents to minimize overlap as much as possible for each character I transformed into. I am also trying to differentiate using suitable hair and makeup on top of that.”
