In simply over a month, “12.12: The Day” has surpassed 10 million moviegoers on the Korean field workplace!

On the morning of December 24, the Korean Film Council introduced that the star-studded historic movie had formally reached a complete of over 10 million moviegoers. The movie was initially launched on November 22, that means that it took lower than 33 days to hit the ten million mark.

“12.12: The Day” is simply the second Korean movie launched in 2023 to achieve the milestone, following the smash hit “The Roundup: No Way Out.”

Notably, it’s also the primary Korean movie that’s not a sequel or a part of a collection to surpass 10 million moviegoers for the reason that award-winning 2019 movie “Parasite.”

“12.12: The Day” is Hwang Jung Min’s third movie to hit the ten million mark (following “Ode to My Father” and “Veteran”), and it’s Jung Woo Sung’s first movie to achieve the milestone.
