He now thinks it’s good for the album!
BTS‘s Jungkook is releasing his debut solo album, GOLDEN, this week, including the new song “Standing Next to You.”
In a new interview with PICKCON, Jungkook revealed his surprising initial reaction to the song. American record producer Andrew Watt played him “Standing Next to You” after they recorded “Seven,” and Jungkook was not drawn to it.
Let me tell you when I first heard this song. After Andrew and I finished recording ‘Seven,’ he performed this tune once more. I wasn’t instantly drawn to the tune, however there was a grandeur to it after I heard it.
— Jungkook
Jungkook defined that initially, no choreography or something was deliberate for “Standing Next to You” at this level. Adding that side, the tune grew into one thing better that Jungkook believes completely suits the album GOLDEN.
There was no choreography or efficiency at that time. But then I spotted that it could be actually cool to do one thing onstage, and I simply type of got here up with these drawings. So, I feel it’s a really acceptable tune for the title of this ‘Golden’ album.
