With BIGBANG‘s Taeyang making a comeback six years after his previous one, he admitted there had been many changes in the industry. The veteran idol even learned about a new trend among K-Pop idols that surprised him.

During Taeyang’s look on The Ok-Star Next Door, his buddy Jonathan identified two issues he seen when reviewing his idol profile. He mentioned, “You insist on taking your top off often and unshaved armpits,” earlier than revealing which one was unusual.

Seeking solutions as an MC, Jonathan requested, “If you look at the picture, for idols these days, shaved armpits are the trend. Is there a reason you don’t shave your armpits?”

Taeyang was shocked and requested his personal query, “Is that the trend now?” When Jonathan confirmed that every one idols now “keep them clean,” Taeyang supplied a hilariously apologetic response.

He then defined why he hadn’t shaved his armpits. Taeyang answered, “Back then, unshaved armpits were okay. Like a tough guy.”

While the pattern may’ve shocked Taeyang, it’s been a current matter that’s divided followers, with SHINee‘s Key talking about his dislike for utterly eradicating the physique hair. Maybe Taeyang might help him affect different idols to convey again the pure look.
