The upcoming sequel to “Veteran,” titled “I, the Executioner,” has launched new stills of Jang Yoon Joo!
Directed by Ryoo Seung Wan, identified for “The Battleship Island” and “Escape from Mogadishu,” “Veteran” is a criminal offense motion movie following a veteran investigation group pursuing an boastful third-generation chaebol. The sequel “I, the Executioner” continues the story of detective Seo Do Chul (Hwang Jung Min) and his crime investigation group, now joined by detective Park Sun Woo (Jung Hae In).
Jang Yoon Joo reprises her function as Detective Bong, a tenacious investigator with a deep sense of justice.
In the newly launched stills, her look and character stay strikingly just like how she was 9 years in the past. One picture captures her with a critical expression as she stares intently in a dimly lit workplace, illuminated solely by the sunshine from a desk lamp and her laptop computer.
In one other shot, she appears perplexed amid a bustling market, seemingly on the hunt for clues throughout her investigation. In stark distinction, one other picture showcases her dramatic transformation. Dressed in a blue-green fur coat and sporting a well-groomed coiffure, she confidently holds a Hwatu (Korean conventional card sport) card, elevating curiosity about how she finally ends up at a playing web site.
“I, the Executioner” is scheduled to hit theaters on September 13.
