tvN’s upcoming drama “Captivating the King” has shared a sneak peek of Jo Jung Suk and Shin Se Kyung’s first assembly!

Penned by “The Crowned Clown” author Kim Sun Deok, “Captivating the King” will inform the love story of King Yi In (Jo Jung Suk), a depressing monarch who feels empty inside regardless of his excessive place, and Kang Hee Soo (Shin Se Kyung), whose preliminary plot of revenge in opposition to him transforms into an surprising attraction.

In newly launched stills from the upcoming drama, Kang Hee Soo disguises herself as a male Go participant as a part of her plan to overthrow the king. While taking part in a recreation of Go, her gaze turns sharp and fiery within the blink of an eye fixed.

The disguised Kang Hee Soo catches the attention of King Yi In, who occurs to be out for a leisurely stroll. Instinctively drawn to this skillful participant, Yi In is unable to take his eyes off her as he watches her with a curious gaze.

Furthermore, when the playing Go gamers angrily rebuke Yi In, Kang Hee Soo is the one one who boldly stands up for him and expresses her assist of the king—and within the course of, she winds up stealing the lonely Yi In’s coronary heart.
