MBC’s upcoming drama “Knight Flower” (also referred to as “Flower That Blooms at Night”) has shared a teaser!
Set within the Joseon period, “Knight Flower” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a lady who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly main a double life: at night time, she valiantly sneaks out to assist and deal with these in want.
At the start of the teaser, Jo Yeo Hwa is seen standing on the fringe of a cliff in mourning apparel. In the subsequent scene, she sits in a nook of a shrine with a tragic expression on her face.
A toddler says in voice-over, “Widows are not allowed to go outside the fence,” and a lady’s voice is heard remarking, “What can a widow who can’t even cross the fence do?”
However, after trying forlornly past the wall, Jo Yeo Hwa instantly transforms right into a masked swordswoman upon crossing the fence. An thrilling motion scene then unfolds as she confronts quite a few enemies in a combat. The teaser ends with Jo Yeo Hwa saying, “I haven’t been caught by anyone for years. It will continue that way.”
