MBC has unveiled its first poster for its upcoming drama “Flower That Blooms at Night”!
Set within the Joseon period, “Flower That Blooms at Night” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a lady who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly main a double life: at night time, she valiantly sneaks out to assist and deal with these in want.
In the newly launched poster, Jo Yeo Hwa wears mourning apparel as she stares into the digital camera with a decided gaze. Notably, her complete face is forged in shadow apart from her eyes, giving the phantasm that she is sporting a masks to hide her id. The rigidity of the picture additionally hints on the action-packed life that Jo Yeo Hwa leads by night time.
Meanwhile, the poster’s caption declares, “If the strict law of the nation cannot help its powerless subjects, then I can save them, right?”
The drama’s manufacturing staff commented, “We used black and white to capture the double life of [Jo Yeo Hwa], who wears mourning attire by day, but wears a mask and martial attire by night to jump over her fence.”

“Flower That Blooms at Night” will premiere on January 12, 2024 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
