BTS‘s V revealed that a Netflix series changed his thoughts on acting.
It’s been seven years since V made his performing debut in Ok-Drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth alongside his now-friends Park Seo Joon and ZE:A‘s Park Hyung Sik.
ARMYs have anticipated his acting comeback so much so that V was rumored to join the cast of Netflix‘s hit Squid Game. Yet, he was not included when the Season 2 cast was announced.
V guested on fellow idol-actor IU‘s show IU’s Palette to advertise his debut solo album Layover. During it, she requested him if he needed to proceed performing.
IU: Do you may have any plans on your performing profession sooner or later?
V: I do.
V confirmed that he want to proceed performing. So, IU requested what sort of undertaking he want to strive, to which he replied, “Thriller!”
IU: What sort of piece would you wish to strive?
V: Thriller!
V revealed {that a} Netflix present modified his mindset about performing, and it’s not Squid Game. He shared that it was the British darkish comedy sequence The End of the F***ing World, based mostly on Charles Forsman‘s mini-comics of the same name, which IU agreed, “I love that series.”
