Hwang Jung Eum has talked about her upcoming SBS drama “7 Escape”!

Starring Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, and Jo Jae Yoon, “7 Escape” follows the story of seven characters concerned within the disappearance of a younger woman, who was tangled in an advanced internet of lies and ambition. “7 Escape” is the third joint undertaking by scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min who beforehand labored collectively on “The Last Empress” and the hit “The Penthouse” sequence.

Hwang Jung Eum will play the position of the charismatic Geum Ra Hee, a reliable and daring head of a drama manufacturing firm. Geum Ra Hee values cash and success as crucial issues in life and can do something to get what she desires.

Revealing why she selected to star within the drama, Hwang Jung Eum shared, “The writer asked if I wanted to play the villain. I decided to appear in it because I really wanted to star in the writer’s project,” including, “There was no reason why I wouldn’t want to be a part of a story with compelling characters and an interesting storyline.”

On working with Kim Soon Ok, she commented, “Kim Soon Ok is someone who can create something out of nothing. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with her.” She continued, “I trusted and followed the writer and director who have worked together on previous productions.I think it is a powerful drama created by the tremendous passion and sweat of the production team.”

Regarding her character Geum Ra Hee, Hwang Jung Eum shared, “She’s very confident and bold and has a very strong entrepreneurial spirit. So I thought I had to look tough.”

She continued, “There are many aspects that are different from the roles I have played before. I’ve never played such a villainous character before, so I put in a lot of effort in advance, analyzing and focusing on the script as well as shaping my behavior, tone of voice, and gestures to exude charisma.”
