NewJeans shall be taking over their first-ever drama OST!
On August 24, an official from Netflix confirmed stories that NewJeans shall be taking part within the OST (authentic soundtrack) for its upcoming collection “A Time Called You.” Netflix additional shared that NewJeans’ OST shall be a remake of Kim Jong Seo’s 1996 track “Beautiful Restriction” (literal title).
Based on the hit Taiwanese drama “Some Day or One Day,” “A Time Called You” is a time-slip romance starring Jeon Yeo Been as Jun Hee, a girl who desperately misses her boyfriend after he passes away. In the midst of her grief, she winds up miraculously touring again in time to 1998, the place she wakes up as the highschool scholar Min Ju and meets fellow scholar Si Heon (Ahn Hyo Seop), who appears to be like precisely like her late boyfriend.
Since the drama’s theme is about time journey that occurs upon listening to an outdated track from the character’s reminiscences, expectations are already excessive on how NewJeans will mix the 1996 track into the collection.
